Aaru is a contemporary home with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and an additional child’s bedroom/office.
Aaru with its calming colour scheme, set in this fantastic part of Cornwall lives up to its name, meaning peaceful or paradise. Everything has been carefully considered to create a fantastic space for entertaining, both visually and practically.
Downstairs the living areas flow seamlessly with the spacious and contemporary combined kitchen, dining and living area all with underfloor heating throughout.
Aaru has a lovely neutral palette of sage, dusty pinks and warm whites which are offset with a striking graphite kitchen and island, fully equipped with top of the range appliances. Filled with natural light from the large glass doors at either side of the room, the living area has a log fire and two comfy sitting areas which is the perfect space to relax and unwind in after a day spent exploring.
Outside, there is an alternative dining area as well as a hot shower to wash off after a surf, with side access to the utility room.
On the first floor, you’ll find three generous bedrooms, including a master bedroom and an ensuite with beautiful marbled tiles. The other two bedrooms share a family bathroom.
The fourth bedroom is on the ground floor, a spacious en-suite double, off the kitchen area. Aaru is unique in having a dedicated office space with child’s high sleeper bed tucked away behind the utility room.
Aaru is equipped with fibre broadband, underfloor heating and includes an electric car charging point too.

This was our fourth summer holiday at Highcliffe and our first in one Aaru. It definitely won’t be our last. The houses are all excellent - the new development particularly so. The new houses are larger than the existing ones and built to a high standard. Our house was really well furnished and equipped with plenty of room for two adults, several teenagers and a couple of dogs. The whole site is quiet, tidy and well cared for, with many of the houses being pet friendly. The new development also has a very good gym and yoga studio with a cafe facility due to open in the near future. The site is within east walking distance of Polzeath beach, Daymer Bay and the coast path. Rock is a short drive (or slightly longer walk) away. Very easy access to locals shops, restaurants and pubs too. This is a real 5-star location and highly recommended. If work wasn’t taking us overseas for a couple of years we’d already be booked in for 2024. As it is, we’ll be back in 2026!
